Teaching
I have taught statistics and programming to graduate students at Columbia since 2022, and before that spent nine years teaching full time in Beijing. Course materials I have built are open to everyone: StatsTools for interactive statistics demonstrations, and PythonTools for the syntax reference behind HUDM 5001.

Mentoring two doctoral students in quantitative research design using SPSS and Python, from descriptive statistics through regression. We co-authored a study of unequal access and heterogeneous returns to advanced high school mathematics, submitted to AERA 2027.
